Mechanically reliable. Check for worn interior trim and working electrics. Battery dying after parked for few days most likely due to problem in body control module. Battery might die overnight if the key is left in the ignition. The transmission may intermittently revert to fail-safe mode due to multiplexing problem, fixed by reprogramming. If engine pings under light load, idles too high or stumbles on acceleration when cold, ECM reprogramming is required. First-year models had problems with ignition coils, replaced under warranty. Automatic headlights may not turn off due to communication fault between rain sensor and headlight module. The sunroof may not close in hot weather because the side-channels expand and cause the anti-trap sensors to stop the motor.
