Occasional problems include failure of the engine's intake manifold gaskets, causing rough idle and turning on "check engine" error light, but parts are cheap for this fix. Failure of the fuel tank sending unit means fuel gauge will not work, and replacement parts are expensive. Engine seems to have tendency to burn a lot of oil.
