In wet conditions, the exhaust manifold is prone to corroding around the oxygen sensors and causing leak, and since the manifold includes a catalytic converter, the cost of replacement is expensive. Rubber sealing strips on bottoms of doors wear away down to the metal spring clips which rust and scrape the paint off the door sills. In pre-2004 models, bolts from air intake can come loose and fall into engine, and this was a factory recall item elsewhere. Some rubber door-trim wear and dashboard rattles reported. But most owners seem to have a problem-free experience.
