From 2014, the Infiniti JX35 became the QX60 to follow the Japanese brand's new naming structure, and it received a facelift for 2016. Powered by a 3.5-litre V6 mated to a CVT automatic and all-wheel-drive, the Infiniti QX60 is aimed at the family crowd. With three-row seating, leather upholstery and a touchscreen multimedia computer, all models are generously equipped as luxury vehicles, unlike the cloth-wearing base models peddled as premium vehicles by German competitors. Depending on trim level, available features include smart keyless entry and start, tri-zone auto a/c with air purifier, 15-speaker CD/MP3 stereo with USB port and Bluetooth, powered front seats with memory and ventilation, split-folding second and third-row seats, wood trim, hard-drive navigation, around-view parking cameras, parking-guidance system, blind-spot monitor, multiple airbags, lane departure warning and prevention, adaptive cruise control with collision warning, cross-traffic alert and auto braking, rear DVD screens, pre-crash seatbelts, ABS and stability control. The 2016 QX60 also adds Forward Emergency Braking with pedestrian detection.
