Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe is a combination of both coupe and crossover, designed to the tackle the BMW X6. Currently only the GLE 450 AMG is being sold, which comes with a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 motor, mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. Exterior-wise, it shares a few design cues of the new S-Class Coupe, such as the roofline and rear tail-lights. The interior features sports seats, a sports steering wheel and a new infotainment display. The cabin is covered in silver shadow accents, and aluminum or wood trim.Safety features include Driving Assistance package which includes features such as DISTRONIC PLUS with Steering Assist and Stop&Go Pilot, PRE-SAFE Brake with pedestrian detection, BAS PLUS with Cross-Traffic Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist and PRE-SAFE PLUS. The Parking package includes the 360-degree camera and Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC. Night-time vision is improved by the LED Intelligent Light System which is a standard feature on all models; adverse weather conditions with impaired view are defused by MAGIC VISION CONTROL the heated, adaptive windscreen wiper system.
