Acura made its debut in the Middle East market in 2015. It got a facelift in 2017. Currently it is only being sold in Kuwait. The Acura MDX is their luxury midsize SUV offering. Under the hood, the all-wheel drive model has a 3.5-litre V6 engine, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Standard features in the MDX include power steering, power windows, electric mirrors, LED headlights, daytime running lights, roof rack, sunroof, engine start-stop button, cruise control, front power seats with lumbar support, 3 rows for 7 seaters, 3-zone automatic A/C, leather interior, premium audio system with 12 speakers, DVD player with Dolby Pro Logic II (PL2)/MP3/WMA/USB/AUX support & 100 GD hard-disk, handsfree telephone with voice recognition, front & rear smart keyless entry, front heated & ventilated seats, front & rear parking sensors and real wood dashboard. The higher model gets adaptive cruise control, premium MILANO leather and bird's eye view camera. Standard safety features on the MDX include front, side curtain and knee airbags, ABS, electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), vehicle stability assist (VSA), traction control, hill-start assist and trailer stability assist. The higher model gets additional blind spot information, crash mitigation brake system & forward collision warning system.
