Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT 2015 Overview
The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT gets a name-change to only "SRT" for 2014, as well as a 6.4-litre V8, 8-speed automatic and all-wheel-drive with no low-range. Other features include an 8.4-inch touchscreen display and 7-inch customer configurable multiview cluster display. Other features include real leather upholstery, stitched-leather dash trim, ventilated power-adjustable front seats, 9-speaker audio with subwoofer and 20-inch wheels, with various options and accessories available. The SRT8 version gets a unique body kit, sports suspension, sports seats and other trim bits. Safety features available include standard active head restraints, front airbags, full-length side-curtain and seat-mounted side airbags, stability control, electronic roll mitigation, hill-start assist and optional trailer-sway control. An optional blind-spot/rear cross-path detection system and adaptive cruise control with forward collision warning are also available.

| Known Problems | In the US, there were recalls for the cruise control which cannot be cancelled, supercharger bracket which may damage ABS line, transmission shifter which may not completely shift to Park, rear lower control arms which may be incorrectly heat treated leading to fracture, and front left caliper which may break. Few owners reported shock absorber leak, coolant leak, harsh shifting in track mode, carbon fiber trim needed replacement, and engine lifter problems leading to limp mode or hesitation. |
