The attractive GranTurismo is derived from a shortened Quattroporte platform. The sizeable GranTurismo is a pure Italian, given its Ferrari-developed engine and mechanicals, powered by a 4.2-litre V8 mated to a 6-speed automatic that adjusts to individual driving styles. A Sport version ups the ante with a 4.7-litre V8, which can either mated to a Electro-Actuated MC Shift or an optional MC-Shift automanual transmission. A lighter GranTurismo MC Stradale is also available, which has some exterior modifications to improve aerodynamics. It is fitted with an automatic gearbox and equipped with an adaptive control system which adjusts the gear-shifting mode to the driving style and conditions.
