Subaru Forester 2021 Overview
This generation of the Subaru Forester debuted in 2015 and carries on unchanged except for a facelift and minor trim updates in 2017. Subaru continues to offer standard all-wheel-drive, while the only engine choice for the GCC is the 2.5-litre flat-6 engine. Subaru's 'symmetrical' AWD uses an electronically-controlled multi-plate transfer clutch system to actively manage power distribution on all four wheels, working in conjunction with the standard stability control system. While not a true offroader, ground clearance and approach angles have been increased for the new model. Built on the Impreza platform, the Forester comes with a CVT automatic. The basic 2.5i model comes with full power accessories, stability control, dual front airbags, cruise control, automatic a/c, CD player, ABS, fog lamps, roof rails and 16-inch wheels. The mid-range model adds alloy wheels and leather-wrapped controls. The top model gets a CD changer, full leather trim, sunroof, power-adjustable front seats, HID headlights, and a full set of side and curtain airbags.
