The Aston Martin V8 Vantage forms the basis for the V12 Vantage, a technology showcase that brings the aging Vantage some new-found attention. The new-for-2010 Aston Martin V12 Vantage gets a big bump in power and a reprogrammed stability control system to help put it to the road. More a proper sports car than a grand tourer now, the V12 Vantage is powered by a 6.0-litre V12 from their larger DB9 series. A 6-speed conventional manual is mounted behind the driver for better weight distribution and drives the rear wheels.
