GMC Sierra 1500 2023 Overview
An all-new GMC Sierra came in 2019. In 2022, the Sierra 1500 got a facelift and interior upgrades. There is a 2.7-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder joining the line-up, along with the V8 engines. While the 4.3-litre V8 work truck is available with a 6-speed automatic transmission, the 2.7-litre and 5.3-litre get an 8-speed automatic transmission. The 6.2-litre gets the 10-speed auto. The Middle East exclusive regular cab Sierra AT4 comes with the 5.3-litre engine, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission (regular cab models get the 8-speed auto). It includes stronger shocks, front tow hooks and extra under-body protection. From 2022, the interior gets a 13.4-inch display for the infotainment and a 12.3-inch digital display for the instrument cluster for the SLE trim and above. The 2023 GMC Sierra pickups get 12-volt outlets, five USB ports and a SD-card slot. For improving fuel economy, all V8 engines have cylinder deactivation and direct injection. The AT4X trim was also introduced later in 2022.

| Known Problems | In the US, there were recalls for the Electronic brake assist module software error, poor alternator connection,seatbelt pretensioner, and for the passenger airbag module. Few owners reported warped dash, loose knee bolster, and noise from the rear doors of the extended cab. |
