Hyundai Centennial 2014 Overview

The Hyundai Centennial is a full-size high-end luxury sedan that serves as the flagship model for the Korean manufacturer. Also known as the Equus elsewhere, it is the most expensive sedan in the company's lineup ever. Introduced in 2010, this rear-wheel-drive cruiser underwent an unnoticeable external facelift for 2014, and is now offered with a choice of two engines, namely a 3.8-litre V6 and a 5.0-litre V8, both direct-injection "GDI" units mated to an 8-speed automatic. The facelift also brought along with it a completely new interior. Standard features include 18-inch alloy wheels, dial-controlled multimedia screen, rear parking camera with guidelines, HID headlights, adaptive front lighting, fog lamps, electric parking brake, leather upholstery, ventilated power-adjustable front seats with reclining/massaging rear ones, power-adjustable headrests and steering column, CD/MP3 stereo with steering buttons, Bluetooth, smart keyless entry with push-button start, luggage net, auto-dimming mirror, power-folding side mirrors, leather upholstery, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, rear electric sunshade, and a 7-inch screen within the gauges. Optional features include 19-inch alloys, power-closing door latches, sunroof, rear armrest cool box, rear tray-tables, rear DVD entertainment screens, mud guards, easy-access sliding driver's seat with power lumbar adjustment, LED headlights, adaptive cruise control, heads-up display, around-view camera system, haptic steering-wheel controls, rear-side electric sunshades and a full 12.3-inch LCD gauge cluster. Standard safety features include stability control, nine airbags including knee airbags, tyre-pressure monitor, ABS with EBD and seatbelt pretensioners, with optional features such as lane departure warning, blind-spot monitor, and a pre-safety system which automatically applies full braking force and reels in the front seat belts when a collision is detected.
