The Lincoln MKS is an all-new full-size luxury sedan produced by Ford's upscale division, continuing the brand's confusing new letter-based naming system. And although it can be considered the marque's technological flagship sedan, it still falls behind leaders in the wider market. For starters, it is based on a front-wheel-drive platform shared with the Ford Taurus. But while this can be overlooked thanks to all-wheel-drive being standard on all GCC-spec models, the main engine for this full-sizer is a new 3.7-litre V6, instead of a V8. It rides on fully-independent suspension and 20-inch polished aluminium wheels. Features include a 6-speed manually-shiftable automatic, keyless entry and start, adaptive cruise control, SYNC voice-activated multimedia system, Bluetooth, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a rearview camera system, front and rear park assist, a THX sound system with full 5.1 surround sound, vented power seats, sunroof, HID headlights, LED taillamps, wood and leather interior trim, and Ford's capless fuel-filler system. Safety features include standard front, side and curtain airbags, stability control and ABS brakes.
