Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class 2022 Overview
An all-new Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class came out in 2019. The exterior and interior have been completely changed to incorporate their new design language, first seen on the Mercedes-Benz A-Class. New engines now power the CLS-Class which includes a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo for the CLS 350, and the 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-6 motor for the CLS-450. All of them get the 9-speed automatic transmission. The CLS 450 is available only in all-wheel-drive. In 2022, the CLS-Class received a slight facelift and upgraded tech inside. Standard features are aplenty which include leather seats, keyless entry, central locking, engine stop-start button, digital instrument cluster, infotainment system with Bluetooth/USB support, cruise control, LED headlights and 18-inch alloy wheels. Optional equipment includes air suspension and a widescreen cockpit consisting of two 12.3-inch displays on the dashboard. An AMG line is also available and includes AMG body styling, a diamond pattern radiator grille, 19-inch alloy wheels, and a flat-bottomed sports steering wheel.

| Known Problems | In the US, there were recalls for the seat belt latching not detecting, coolant pump electrical line chafing, brake assist which may not engage, headlight adjustment failure, and steering rack lock nut failure. Random reports of failing reverse camera and suspension settings not changing until restarting the car. |
