Volkswagen Golf R 2014 Overview
A new generation Golf R debuted in 2014 in the Middle East. Under the hood is a 4-cylinder 2.0-litre turbocharged unit, mated to a dual-clutch 6-speed automanual transmission. The all-wheel drive Golf R is lighter and more powerful than the previous generation. It features power steering, power windows, electric mirrors, sports seats, standard XDS electronic differential lock, turning HID headlights, automatic parking assist, adaptive cruise control, 19-inch alloys and rear camera. Safety standards are high as it comes with seven airbags including a knee airbag, ABS brakes, traction control and stability control.
