Volvo S60 2020 Overview
An all-new Volvo S60 came out as a 2019 model in the GCC. It is the first ever Volvo to be built in the United States. The S60 straddles the line between compact and midsize. There is only one engine choice, the 4-cylinder 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, but available in two different tunes and mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The base model gets the T5 engine and available only in front wheel drive, while the T6 model gets all-wheel-drive. The cabin features extensive soft-touch materials and Volvo's tablet-style infotainment system in a choice of wood, metal and graphite colours. Base features include cloth upholstery, power windows, electric mirrors, alloy wheels, front and side-curtain airbags, keyless entry with starter motor and more. The higher models gets larger wheels, leather, navigation, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitor, adaptive HID headlights, sunroof and more. Volvo's unique 'City Safety' feature is standard, whereby the system brakes by itself to avoid hitting cars and pedestrians.
