Porsche 911 Turbo 2017 Overview
The Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S got a minor facelift in 2017, as well as a slight power upgrade, thanks to modified inlet ports in the cylinder head, new injection nozzles and higher fuel pressure. Fuel economy improves slightly as well due to further advanced electronic engine and transmission management with revised gear change mappings. The engine is a 3.8-litre turbocharged flat-6 engine, mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Standard features on the 911 Turbo include power steering, power mirrors, keyless entry, electric sports seats, leather seats, Alcantara roof lining, multifunction steering wheel, 2-zone automatic A/C, cruise control, front and rear parking sensors with rearview camera, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) infotainment system with radio and Bluetooth, Connect Plus with Apple CarPlay, Bose sound system with 12 speakers and subwoofer, and 20-inch alloy wheels. In the Turbo S, sports bucket seats and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) are standard. Optional features list is long where customers can opt for different interior packages, higher end music system, special exterior paint, different alloy rim designs, etc. Standard safety features include airbags for driver and front passenger, Porsche Side Impact Protection (POSIP), comprising side impact protection elements in the doors, thorax airbag integrated into the side bolsters of the front seats and head airbag for driver and front passenger in each door panel, traction control, stability control and lane keeping assist.
