Land Rover Range Rover Velar 2021 Overview
The Land Rover Range Rover Velar is Land Rover's latest offering. Slotting bang in between the Evoque and Range Rover Sport, the Velar will be offered in four trims, namely - Velar, Velar S, Velar SE, and Velar HSE. There will also be a limited-production model namely the Velar First Edition, on offer. The Range Rover Velar will be offered with a choice of two engines - a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine available in two configurations featuring different power outputs, and a 3.0-litre supercharged V6 engine. Standard features include flush-deployable door handles, terrain select, auto locking centre and rear differentials, multiple airbags, hill descent control, Low-traction launch, and all-terrain progress control. Optional features include electronic air suspension with adaptive damping, sliding panoramic sunroof, and automatic access height. Trim-wise features in the Velar includes 18-inch wheels, fixed panoramic roof, LED headlights, auto-dimming interior rear-view mirror, 8-speaker 250-watts audio system, keyless entry, and rear parking assist. The Velar S includes 19-inch wheels, LED headlamps with signature DRLs, powered tailgate with gesture-based operation, electrically foldable heated auto-dimming door mirrors with approach lamps, 10-way power-adjustable drivers seat with memory, 380-watts 11-speaker premium sound system, navigation, and rear camera. The Velar SE includes 20-inch wheels, matrix LED headlamps with signature DRLs, 825-watts 17-speaker premium sound system, interactive driver display, a drive pack comprising of driver condition monitoring and traffic sign recognition, and a park pack which includes 360-degree field view. The top-spec Velar HSE comes with 21-inch wheels, electronically adjustable steering column, 20-way heated/cooled power driver and front passenger seats with memory and massage function, Windsor leather interior, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and parking assist. The Velar First Edition further includes 22-inch wheels, exclusive 'First Edition' badging on the B-pillars, Carbon Fibre with Copper Wire Weave trim finishers with exclusive First Edition script, Alston headlining, heated steering wheel, 23-speaker premium audio surround sound system, heads-up display, privacy glass, illuminated treadplates, and configurable mood-lighting.
