The Lexus RX continues its grip on womenly drivers everywhere, with a new design for 2010 that isn't a radical change compared to the outgoing model. The RX 350 still comes with only one engine, namely a 3.5-litre V6 with VVT-i variable valve timing, mated to a 6-speed automatic and all-wheel-drive platform. The basic model includes front-side airbags, curtain and knee airbags, rear-side airbags, cruise control, CD changer with 9 speakers, powered front seats, wood trim, fabric seats, smart entry and start system, ABS, stability control, 18-inch alloy wheels, front and rear parking sensors, and HID headlights. The mid-range model adds Mark Levinson audio with 15 speakers, DVD changer, Bluetooth, heads-up display, rear entertainment system, navigation system, rear camera, leather seats, Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management, 19-inch alloy wheels, sunroof, adaptive headlights and hill-start assist. The top model adds better leather, panoramic sunroof and a pre-crash safety system. The optional Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management is a system that coordinates the stability control system with Active Torque Control to offer better handling in emergency situations. A front lower-bumper spoiler is optional. On debut in 2010, three trim levels were offered, namely the Premium, Premium Plus and Luxury. For 2011, the trim levels changed to Premier, Vogue, Prestige and Platinum, as a well as a mid-range 'Stone Designs' edition with a custom red-beige cloth interior.
