2009 Audi Q7 V12 TDI revealed early
The Audi Q7 V12 TDI is going to be launched in Europe soon, and Audi chose to release photos of the new vehicle which were obviously taken in the UAE. Of course, even Audi isn’t dumb enough to release a TDI truck in Dubai at a time when diesel costs twice as much as petrol.
This version of the ugly Q7 is powered by a 6.0-litre turbodiesel V12, producing a massive 500 hp and an insane 1000 Nm of torque, enough to dig itself into the ground rather than help it climb dunes. Audi claims 0-100 kph in 5.5 seconds and a limited top speed of 250 kph.
Standard features include 20-inch or 21-inch wheels, carbon-fibre ceramic brakes, adaptive air suspension, leather seats, carbon-fibre and excessive alcantara trim, Bose stereo and more.
As we said, the diesel-powered truck will not be released in the GCC.

Why do you hate diesel car? they have great torque and are fuel efficient. European and Korean diesels are very refined and some diesels have less vibes than petrol ones. Diesel produced her is of low quality and high in sulphur and thats why we dont get those engines which will seize with the high sulphur content. diesel produced here sux! And japenese arent very good with diesel engines cuz they’re ‘common fuel’ is petrol. Korea and Europe’s [mostly Uk’s, France’ and germany’s] common fuel is diesel and therefore they have more experience with di engines.

yeh true they do provide great torque, but early diesel models were noisy, extremely un refined, and produced horrible horse power..These new ones are much better but the fact of the matter is, those who have been emotionally scared, pun intended, because of one of these diesel engines will never really like one even if they are new, like this 6.0 TDI. Personally i’d always prefer a petrol over a diesel any day..

But i have to say this TDI is simple awesome..I think its a version of Audi’s Lemans winning engine,am i right??

so expensive ,i rather have porsche turbo or the more cheaper grand cherokee SRT-8 which produces 425 hp and 0 to 100km in 5 seconds;pricetag $45000.its a bargain.
