Redesigned 2010 Toyota Prius revealed early
The Toyota Prius has become a fashion icon around the world for those who want to appear environmentally-conscious. It was the world’s first mass-produced four-door hybrid, powered by a petrol engine mated to an electric engine that recharged itself through regenerative braking technology. The current generation of the Prius is most recognisable, and Toyota has chosen to keep its existing shape for the 2010 model, while updating some styling, tech and interior details.
Most obvious is a new face, reminiscent of the Yaris hatchback. Power is expected to go up slightly, thanks to a larger-displacement petrol engine, growing from 1.5 litres to 1.6 litres. Toyota has improved fuel economy to 5.1 litres/100 km by installing a more efficient powertrain with improved batteries for longer electric-only driving, as well as designing a lighter body though the extensive use of advanced composites in its construction.
There is very little chance that the Prius will reach GCC markets in the near future. Toyota is busy dumping their excess 4WD stock onto the streets of Dubai, as SUV sales have hit the gutter elsewhere around the world.

O please!!! I think I was about to puke looking at that car! How much worse can toyota get at designing cars. I’m not being sarcastic or making expressions of how bad the design is. I literally mean it. I really felt like puking. Anyway, hybrid toyota camrys are in DUbai but I dont and I mean DONT wanna see this ugly duckling here or I might be the first person who gets design-sick instead of road sick while on the roads!!!
