2011 Porsche Cayenne to become crossover
The Porsche Cayenne has been aging ungracefully but is still selling well due to its badge. But Porsche is already testing a replacement, and has been caught numerous times on European roads in minor camouflage.
Porsche insiders say that the 2011 Porsche Cayenne will become a road-going crossover SUV instead of a true off-roader, which would bring it in line with its less-capable competitors from Germany. The speculation likely holds true, considering the 2011 Cayenne prototype looks smaller than the current model.
It is unfortunate that Porsche is taking this direction, considering it is the only German luxury 4×4 that isn’t a total poser, even if it is the ugliest. Expect the new model to be a hit in the UAE and GCC anyway.

Looks like a Kia. Sad to see this is the direction they are gong. I was holding out to see what the 2011 would look like… Seeing this, it might be time to pick up a GTS while they look mean and capable.
