Zubair Automotive in Oman wins FUSO award

Mitsubishi FUSO Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC), a brand renowned worldwide for manufacturing commercial vehicles, has recently announced its annual ‘FUSO Awards’ recognising outstanding achievements and performances by their distributors worldwide.

For the year 2008, General Automotive Company LLC, under the umbrella of Zubair Automotive Group, has won two awards – for achieving ‘Historical Sales Volumes’ and also a ‘Service Training’ award. “The FUSO Awards are contested by all distributors of MFTBC worldwide and it is an honour and a great achievement to be recognised in their 2008 awards. The sales results have been led by Canter Truck’s and as such have become the preferred vehicle choice for commercial operators, offering unrivaled flexibility, reliability and durability. These were closely followed by Rosa Bus and the FP Heavy-Duty Truck range, both striking a balance between comfort, operational ease, economy and safety.

The FUSO Award for Service Training is awarded to the distributor who frequently demonstrates the highest levels of training to a maximum number of its employees. This award is in line with the Zubair Group’s commitment to Omanisation and training to develop a high quality workforce that in turn offers quality service to our customers and supports the reliability and functionality of the full FUSO product range.
