Mini Club Dubai goes to Jebel Hafeet

Over 35 MINI Club Dubai drivers put their wheels to the test by conquering the UAE’s highest point, Jebel Hafeet. Widely acknowledged as the best drive in the UAE, the road through the Jebel Hafeet mountains rises 1,240 metres above sea level and commands panoramic views across the Omani and UAE boarders.

Commenting on the event MINI Club Dubai Presidents Mahmoud Chemaitelly and Anas Al Halabi said: “The first road trip for the MINI Club Dubai is as an important milestone and a great opportunity to put MINI through its paces. We set up this club to share the thrill of driving a MINI with other owners and enthusiasts. We all love our MINIs and are dedicated to celebrating all that is MINI, especially its value of no boundaries.”

MINI Club Dubai members set off from Dubai’s Festival City and drove in tandem across the UAE to Jebel Hafeet in MINIs of all shapes and sizes. The drive was followed by a celebratory BBQ session with an exhilarating view from the top of the mountain, the perfect reward at the end of a thrilling journey.

Members also took part in a host of fun MINI-themed games including a MINI quiz and a ‘fill the MINI’ competition. The Club managed to break its own record by packing 17 people into the MINI Clubman – two more than its previous record set in 2008.

MINI Club Dubai is committed to supporting sports initiatives and activities for MINI owners, future owners and enthusiasts in the United Arab Emirates. The MINI Club Dubai adds to the MINI brand in Dubai and encourages MINI enthusiasts to be active, daring, and challenging just like the MINI. Established in October 2008, MINI Club Dubai has welcomed more than 40 members to the Club. This year’s event is the first road trip for MINI Club Dubai, making it an important milestone and achievement for the Club’s organisers.
