ACDelco Opens Auto Repair Shop At Dubai Mall

ACDelco, a leader in the automotive aftermarket, opened its auto repair shop at KidZania, the unique edutainment centre for children in The Dubai Mall. At ACDelco’s Auto Repair Shop, children get to play the role of a professional mechanic.

“Our mission through this shop is to teach young minds about automotive mechanics and customer service through the high-end parts and quality service facilities offered by ACDelco,” said Martino Picotti, GM Middle East Marketing Manager – Customer Service.

ACDelco’s establishment at KidZania can accommodate up to 12 children at one time. Upon arrival, children put on their ACDelco uniforms and receive guidance from Zupervisors on how to proceed with the script handed to them. After receiving a brief introduction on car functioning and, depending on their script, kids receive instructions on how to change the oil and filter, assess the condition of the battery and replace it and assess brake pads and change them.

Children learn how an ACDelco shop operates in real life and are taught the value of offering premium replacement parts for every vehicle on the road, along with the importance of the high-end service facilities offered by ACDelco.
