Subaru Tribeca 2010 recalled in United States

Continuing the barrage of recalls by all manufacturers these past few months, Subaru has joined in, issuing a recall for 1,585 units of the 2010 Subaru Tribeca in the United States.

The recall is for mispositioned door latches. According to the U.S. NHTSA safety agency, during production some door-latch cables were installed improperly, so that when the window is rolled down, the cable could catch in the door-glass regulator, and that will open the door. The odd recall has begun, and U.S. dealers will fix the latches for free.
