Cadillac CTS and CTS-V recalled for useless reasons
General Motors is recalling the 2009-2010 Cadillac CTS AWD and the 2009-2010 CTS-V models due to an issue with the front passenger-side knee airbag, although it doesn’t seem like much of an issue in the first place if the front passenger isn’t a blithering idiot.
In a collision, the front passenger’s knees are at risk of being hit. However, this risk is only for passengers not wearing their seat-belt. U.S. dealers are instructed to replace the glove box assembly and, if necessary, modify the instrument panel structure for free. If you own the affected CTS models, ask your local dealer for more information.

Evil, I think an Audi or VW having problems is considered ‘normal’ so no recall needed.
