Honda Accord Crosstour 2010 recall for airbag
Honda is recalling certain 2010 Accord Crosstour models to inspect and replace the front passenger airbag if needed. The North American recall will cover about 3,340 units in total, some 700 of those in Canada. We assume the GCC region is included too.
Recent testing of the American-built Crosstour revealed a potential problem with the airbag modules not meeting the rules regarding protection of unbelted child test-dummies in the front seats. Honda says no incidents have been reported, but Honda is recommending that children under the age of 12 be properly restrained in the vehicle’s rear seat until the car is inspected.
