Infiniti M37 and M56 2011 UAE debut at Sharjah auto show
Nissan’s UAE dealer will be launching the all-new 2011 Infiniti M37 and M56 models at a press event in Dubai on October 10, and will showcase the car to the public in their stand at the 2010 Sharjah Auto Show, starting October 14 this week. A wider Middle East press launch was already held in Lebanon, from what we heard.
The all-new 2011 Infiniti M is the much-needed midsize luxury sedan with sporting intentions that the still-small Japanese brand will put up against established German competitors, after the previous version turned out to be a dud and the G37 being a bit too small.
The M37 will have a 328 hp 3.7-litre V6 while the M56 will have a 402 hp 5.6-litre V8, both rear-wheel-drive with 7-speed automatic gearboxes.
Expect UAE pricing to start near Dhs 200,000 for an M37, going as high as Dhs 250,000 for an optioned-up M56, given that Infiniti isn’t the “value-priced” luxury marque it once was, although still cheaper and more reliable than any German brand.
Update: Base price has been announced at Dhs 185,000 for an M37.
Keep track of GCC updates in the Infiniti M buyer guide.

it looks very nice car, but I want to ask you if you have ever tested the new 7 speed trans of infiniti found in G37 and FX, I heard many complains about it, most users say the shifts are so bulky and you hear sounds and knocks during down shifting, the other complain is that when you are on the top gear (7th) and driving over 100 or 120 km, when move your foot away from the accelerator, the car downshifts immideatly and the car feels like breaking while you are in fact not, so if you have ever tested it, please inform us

I asked for the M. Let’s see. With 7 gears, I’d say the engine braking effect may be more pronounced since each gearing is shorter, making it seem like it downshifts. Sort of like how you are driving in first gear, and then take foot off and the car jerks as it slows down.

i had a test drive, at the nissan middle east and believe me its breathtaking, we had a comparison with the bmw5 series and mercedes e class ,infiniti M ROCKS ,SPECIALLY THE Sports edition

I dunno if it goes head to head with a 5 series.. But the car is damn good.

You know what they should do is make a G56 coupe instead of the IPL crap… that would beat the shit out of competition and people would consider the G coupe with superior sports cars

Hi Hussain, do you have any Idea why car prices tend to get insane mark ups? Because I was just checking the USDM M37 and it starts at $46k (AED167)!
What I need to know is, how car dealers price their cars here in the UAE? Aside from disgusting greedy mark ups that is.

It’s the way monopoly works.

I use FX 50 S 2009 which is 400 hp and the car is super in evrything, powerful and the slow down issue is true, but it is an advantage which helps the driver to reduce speed slowly if he removes his foot from the gas padels
The only problem i have is the tires type which i could not get other than Dunlop which makes lot of noise ~~~!!!
