2010 Abu Dhabi Motor Show set to open this week


The 2010 Abu Dhabi International Motor Show is nearing its opening date. Set to run from the 7th to the 11th of December at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, it will be open to the public from 5 pm on the first day. Various new cars will be launched for the first time at the show, with tickets costing Dhs 20.

New vehicles on display will be the Mazda Kazamai concept, GMC Acadia Denali, Ford Mustang, Range Rover Evoque, Ford Edge, Lincoln MKX, Lexus LFA, Toyota FT-86G, Kia Optima, Chevrolet Captiva, GMC Terrain, Cadillac XTS Platinum concept, Peugeot RCZ, Peugeot 3008, Peugeot 5008 and a few other models.

The Abu Dhabi Motor Show will also play host to an indoor speed record attempt. The fastest indoor speed currently recorded is 132.05 kph. A course will be set inside ADNEC from Hall 1 to Hall 4 for the attempts. Professional driver Khaled Al Qubaisi will race your car on the strip to set your record. The attempts will take place on the 9th and 10th. Register your details on www.admotorshow.com for a chance to have your car break the indoor speed record.
