Mercedes-Benz SL65 by MR Car Design

MR Car Design has revealed their version of the 2005 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG. The German tuner has updated the exterior as well as done some minor tweaks to the engine to increase output.

The SL65 gets a new bonnet, inspired from the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. Other exterior upgrades include new rear bumper, a new mid-mounted rear brake light in black, and black fender lights at the front. A new sports exhaust system has been added and the ride has been lowered by 30mm. Also, it gets a new set of 20-inch Carlsson rims.

The ECU has been upgraded, and the output of the 6.0-litre V12 engine increases slightly to 683 hp and 1111 Nm of torque.

Exactly why the German tuner decided to upgrade the older version of the Mercedes-Benz SL65 is unclear. Although the engine is the same in the 2011 SL65 AMG.
