Mazda CX-5 to be unveiled at Frankfurt Motor Show
Mazda is all set for the world premiere their latest CX-5 crossover, boasting their latest SKYACTIV technologies and a new design concept called ‘KODO-Soul of Motion’, at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Latest SKYACTIV technologies mean that the CX-5 shall roll in with new engines, transmissions and chassis. The latest engines destined for the CX-5 are, the SKYACTIV-G 2.0-litre gasoline engine expected to churn out 155 hp and 200 Nm of torque, and the SKYACTIV-D 2.2-litre diesel engine rated at 173 hp and 420 Nm of torque. Both engines swag a record compression ratio of 14:1 for optimum efficiency.
Expect the new crossover from Mazda to show up around here in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the GCC by next year.

Front headlights looks exactly like the facelifted Nissan Qashqai.
CX 7 and 9 isn’t a bit hit in UAE. CX 5 looks good enough to cope up.

there is a difference between the qashqai and cx 5 headlights…its true that cx 7 wasnt a big hit…but cx9 was a huge success in this market…cx7 would have been a success if it was introduced earlier in this market…anyways i do see more CX 9 on road than the qashqai…
