Porsche Macan is the next baby Porsche SUV
After much rumour and speculation of the name “Cajun” for an allegedly upcoming Porsche SUV, and several spy shots of an Audi Q5 which was allegedly a Porsche in disguise, all floating around the internet for over a year now, Porsche has decided to break the suspense. As the rumors suggested for most part and unlike the rumored “name”, Porsche is all set to introduce a new sports utility vehicle called the Porsche Macan.
There is no information regarding the powertrains, features, trims and pricing of the Porsche Macan. However, Porsche does promise that the forthcoming SUV, which will be placed below the Porsche Cayenne in the Porsche line-up, shall combine the characteristics of a sports-car and the benefits of an SUV.
The Porsche Macan is slated for production next year. All we have right now is the sketch above, enough to make the Porsche fanboys daydream. The rest of us will have to wait until Porsche reveals further details about their baby-SUV along with some real pictures, to see what we really have in store for 2013, if at all the world does not end later this year.

Dude
I am proud of Porsche because they do not manufacture their SUV’s in the USA, just like Mercedes and BMW. They maintain their heritage.
The Cayenne really feels more expensive and better made than the crappy X5 that I own!

Your BMW X5 is made in Germany, the X6 is made in the US..
Likewise Mercedes ML & GL are made in the US, the GLK is made in Germany and the G in Austria

^You’re right about the others, but the BMW X5 is indeed still made in USA.

And to add to it, they also use high-end Burmester Audio system in their vehicles, which itself is made in Germany.
Porsche is an amazing brand.
