Honda Accord Crosstour 2013 facelift previewed as concept
The 2013 Honda Accord Crosstour just debuted at the 2012 New York Auto Show, except that Honda is choosing to call it a concept for now.
All it looks to be is a facelifted version of the existing Crosstour, and that too largely from the front. It is expected that the production model will feature updated versions of a 2.4-litre 4-cylinder and a 3.5-litre V6, mated to an all-wheel-drive system, but now featuring a new 6-speed automatic with paddle-shifters. The actual wheels will also be smaller than the show-car’s 19-inchers.
Whether the new face will help sales is another matter, but it shows the styling direction of the upcoming 2013 Honda Accord, while confirming that it will just be a facelift of the existing version rather than a new-from-the-ground-up model.
Keep track of UAE and GCC updates in the Honda buyer guide.
