Dacia Dokker vans launched in Morocco

Dacia’s newest offerings, the Dokker and Dokker van, were unveiled in Casablanca. Both models will be produced in Morocco and will go on sale there initially, before the end of June 2012.

The Dokker is a utilitarian five-seater crew-van which can be ordered with either one or two sliding side-doors. Thanks to its generous boot space and modular interior, it is ideal for carrying bulky loads or as a family commuter.

The Dokker van, the smaller version of the same model, can be specified with either one or two wide sliding side-doors and mainly targets the needs of business customers and traders. Its carrying capacity is apparently among the segment’s best.

The name Dokker is play of the word ‘dockworker’, expressing the high carrying capacity of the two models, as well as their modular interior layout and robustness.

The full range now features nine vehicles namely, the Logan saloon, the Logan MCV estate, the Logan Van, the Logan Pick up, the Sandero hatchback, the Duster SUV, the Lodgy MPV, and the Dokker vans. They might make it to the GCC under the Renault brand.
