Porsche Panamera Wagon to show up at 2012 Paris Motor Show
Porsche personnel have confirmed that a wagon variant of the Panamera will be showcased at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
If the speedy wagon gets the go-ahead, the car would be available by 2016. This would depend on the feedback received from potential customers, especially those in Europe.
The wagon will be based on the second generation Panamera and will feature split-folding rear seats, an extended roofline and an angled tailgate.
The production version of the Panamera wagon is expected to have a standard wheelbase, but for few markets like China, Porsche might consider producing a long-wheelbase model. The German auto-manufacturer is also considering building coupe and cabriolet versions based on the SWB Panamera.
The second generation of the Porsche Panamera will share some of its features with newer Bentley models including Bentley’s twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 engine even.
Hopefully, we can have a glance at the Panamer Wagon if Porsche decide to bring the car to the 2012 Dubai Motor Show, held later this year.
