2013 Lamborghini Gallardo range revealed at Paris Motor Show
The revised 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 and LP 570-4 with the new optional EdizioneTecnica made its worldwide premiere at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
The 6-model Gallardo range starts with entry-level LP550-2 Coupe and Spyder, and also includes the LP570-4 Superleggera and Spyder Performante. However, the LP570-4 Trofeo Stradale has been made redundant.
The LP560-4 Coupe and Spyder get some styling tweaks including trapezoidal design elements in front fenders. The form is replicated in the rear end with body-colored trapezoidal element under the taillamps. Exclusive 19-inch “Apollo polished” alloy wheels, painted in matte black with silver spoke also help differentiate it from the 550-2 model.
The Superleggera and Spyder Performante can be had with the optional Edizione Tecnica package which adds E-Gear, the front suspension lift for negotiating humps, carbon ceramic brakes and a large rear wing. It also comes in three exclusive color combinations that paint roof arch and front air intakes in a contrasting color. You can choose to have Nero Nemesis/Arancio Argos (matte black/orange, as show) or Arancio Argos/Nero Nemesis (orange/matte black) or Bianco Canopus/Arancio Argos (matte white/orange).
The new Gallardo models will be available at Lamborghini dealerships from November 2012.
In other news, the 2013 Aventador gets start/stop technology, cylinder deactivation and a retuned suspension. The carbon package are add cosmetic changes inside and out, and it also gets the new optional 20- and 21-inch Dione forged wheels in three finishes.
Expect the Aventador to hit the roads of UAE, Saudi Arabia and GCC by the end of this year.
