Fiat 500e EV revealed ahead of debut

Italian automaker Fiat, has revealed an all-electric version of the Fiat 500, dubbed the Fiat 500e, ahead of its debut at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show.

Apart from the high resolution images, and the information that the car will be displayed at the American Music Awards happening this month, nothing more is known about the Fiat 500e at this point. However, as far as the hi-res images suggest, the difference between the Fiat 500 and the 500e is not vast, and is limited to a redesigned exterior, and a slightly redesigned interior with new gauge clusters, and the push-buttons replacing the gear shifter.

Scheduled to launch next year, rumors suggest that the Fiat 500e will be produced in limited numbers and for limited regions.
