DC Designs modify Renault Duster into luxury accessory
The Renault Duster was surely a surprise package when it was first introduced GCC-wide in 2012, largely because of its minimal price-tag and the fact that it fell into the ‘SUV’ segment in terms of size. DC Designs, an automobile modification company from India, has extensively modified the Duster for the better.
And truth be told, it does look like something straight out of a sci-fi movie, with its Cyclops-like headlights and muscular charms.
The DC touch continues in the interior as well, as it is filled with lots of leather and wood. There is also a television screen attached on the rear of the driver’s headrest at the passengers disposal. Alongside that you get electrically-adjustable seats, which are reportedly foldable to create a bed area.
What’s even more surprising than the entire design is the price of this entire modification. DC designs have mentioned on their official Facebook page that the entire set-up starts at a mere 349,000 Rupees, or about Dhs 23,600.
Any catches? Hmm… If you look closely into the sixth picture in the gallery, there are still weld marks on the door, which are not covered. But heck, who’s complaining.

The rear seats do look a little cramped with all those accessories but pretty impressive for the price though I do wonder how much weight all this has added which must have made this already slow vehicle more slower.

Doesn’t matter much in India, as the engine that comes with is the 1.5 turbo-diesel, which will have enough power to still propel this thing to 100 in 10’ish or 11’ish something…

Huge fan of DC Design from the late ’90’s. Doesn’t he have a production facility in Dubai?
Yeah the rubber coming out from the body of the vehicle but having seeing their creations in the flesh, his quality is impeccable. Maybe thats why Aston Martin enstructed them with their prototype build http://www.flickriver.com/photos/75671912@N04/sets/72157629414750169/
