So we got a 2014 Honda City
The Honda City has always held an odd spot in the market, too expensive to compete with other sub-compacts and too small to compete with larger compacts. But the all-new 2014 model has undergone a radical transformation, and it can finally justify its price now.
On the outside, it looks nice enough, with a multitude of lines hiding its height somewhat.
That height pays dividends in cabin space, while a longer wheelbase gives it midsize levels of rear legroom.
Up front, in this top trim, there’s a large responsive touchscreen, a segment-first according to Honda (if you ignore last year’s Peugeot 208).
The new City is a model that proves that Honda is doing its best to build uniquely-engineered cars again. But how does it drive? More in the full review.
