Porsche have launched details of the 2015 Cayenne and Cayenne GTS ahead of its official debut at the 2014 LA Auto Show.

The Porsche Cayenne GTS gets the Sport Design package which includes extended wheel arches and redesigned side skirts, while the headlights and tail-lights get the tinted look. The ride height has dropped about 20-24 mm, and it gets 20-inch alloy wheels. Sports exhaust system, performance brakes and Porsche Active Suspension Management System all come standard in the GTS.

Interior is pretty much the same, with leather and Alcantara seats featuring GTS logos on the headrests.

Under the hood, a twin-turbocharged 3.6-litre V6 engine powers the GTS. It produces about 440 hp and 600 Nm of torque, which helps its propel from 0-100 kph in 5.2 seconds (5.1 seconds with the optional Sport Chrono Package), and reaches a top speed of 262 kph.

The entry-level Cayenne model is also set to debut, which will get a 296 hp 3.6-litre V6 engine, mated to a new 8-speed automatic transmission. It goes from 0-100 kph in 7.7 seconds and hits a top speed of 230 kph. The Cayenne also comes with engine auto start/stop technology, helping reducing fuel economy by a further 0.7 l/100 km when compared to the outgoing model.

The 2015 Porsche Cayenne and Cayenne GTS should make its way to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other GCC countries around February next year.

Keep track of the latest prices and updates in the Porsche Cayenne buyer guide.
