Ferrari 488 GTB revealed, set to replace the 458
Ferrari have revealed the 488 GTB, ahead of its official launch at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. It is set to replace the Ferrari 458.
Under the hood, the 488 GTB gets a twin-turbocharged 3.9-litre V8, producing 670 hp and 740 Nm of torque. This is enough to propel the supercar from 0-100 kph in just 3 seconds. Top speed is around 330 kph. Power is delivered via an updated 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission.
The exterior is still pretty similar to the 458, but gets a few visual updates, most of which have been added to improve aerodynamics and performance. The LED tailights have been slightly changed as well.
The interior is quite familiar to the 458 with minor tweaks such as angled air vents and improved graphics on the infotainment and instrument panel. Keyless starts are also an added feature on the 488 GTB.
The Ferrari 488 GTB should arrive in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other GCC countries in the summer.
Keep track of the latest prices and updates in the Ferrari 488 GTB buyer guide.
