Alfa Romeo showed off their all-new 2016 Giulia compact sedan at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. Only the range-topping Quadrifoglio version was on display from the lineup and the Italian manufacturer announced that it had set an impressive lap time around the Nurburgring in 7 minutes and 39 seconds.

Several Giulia Quadrifoglio’s were on display in Frankfurt in different colours which included Competizione Red, Trofeo White, Vulcano Black, Vesuvio Grey and Montecarlo Blue. The interior was the same in all of them which was a combination of leather and Alcantara.

Under the hood, the all-wheel drive sedan gets a turbocharged 2.9-litre 6-cylinder engine, which produces about 503 hp and 600 Nm of torque. This is good enough to propel it from 0-100 kph in just 3.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 307 kph.

The whole car weighs about 1,524 kg, which has been distributed 50:50 perfectly to the front and rear.

The 2016 Alfa Romeo Giulia should arrive in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other GCC countries early next year.

Comments

  1. Any idea how much its going to cost approximately?

  2. Despite the attractive design and remarkable performance figures, I can’t get myself to like this car. Probably because I became a car fan in a time when the glory of old Aflas was long gone and outdated.

  3. Omg alfa… What a complete failure once more…

    Cheap kia/mazda copy paste here..

Unfortunately nothing of what alfa used to be 20+ years back

    • You’re weird mate..

    • Actually I have to agree with Marc. Those rear lights look extremely Kia and the interior a/c vents are definitely from Mazda. I have nothing against Alfa Romeo but these days they are making the wrong moves just to stay in the game. Recently test drove the Giulietta QV. Being a fan of hot hatches i have to say it was really disappointing. No offense to Alfa owners 🙂
