2017 Toyota C-HR crossover revealed at Geneva
Previewed as a C-segment hybrid crossover back in 2014, the C-HR made its official debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show this week.
The production-ready crossover incorporates an aggressive front fascia with its edgy headlights and slender grille. The sporty theme is further carried with the flared arches, sloping roofline, hidden rear-door handles, boomerang-shaped tailights and a floating rear spoiler.
It will use a hybridised 122 hp 1.8-litre petrol engine. Toyota will also sell the C-HR with a turbocharged 1.2-litre petrol engine taken from the Euro-market Auris. It develops 115 hp and is mated to either a 6-speed manual or a CVT and can be paired to an optional four-wheel-drive system. Some select markets will get it with a naturally-aspirated 2.0-litre engine.
Considering the Prius has entered the GCC-market, the Turkish-built C-HR crossover may make its way into select parts of the Middle East soon.

Basically a Juke competitor. The front looks really nice but the rear isn’t as good. Here’s hoping they don’t mess up the interior…
