New Honda, Abarth and Borgward showrooms open in UAE
We attended the inaugurations of new showrooms for three different brands in the UAE over the past couple of weeks.
Al-Futtaim Honda, exclusive distributor of Honda in the UAE, has opened its new 3S (Sales, Service and Spare parts) facility in Abu Dhabi. Located at Umm Al Nar, the new 8,000 square-metre facility has 21 workshop bays and can handle more than 100 cars per day.
National Auto has opened an exclusive showroom for Fiat’s Abarth performance brand on Airport Road in Deira, Dubai. Officially launched for sale are the Abarth 595, 695 and 124 Spider models.
Germany-based automaker Borgward launched its showroom in Dubai in partnership with its exclusive UAE distributor Union Motors. Borgward also opened the Middle East Parts Center warehouse at the Jebel Ali Free Zone. The new facility is expected to cut down the shipping time for parts to 2-5 days from placing the order. Borgward officially entered the GCC car market with the rollout of the Chinese-built BX5 and BX7 SUV models in November 2017.

Maybe they prematurely thought they are ready. We don’t have more details than this either.
