Inkas Sentry MPV ready for urban battle
If the car of your dreams is a hardcore machine that can batter foot-thick brick walls and come out of the other side unscathed, you’ll be spoilt for choice. The Knight XV, Paramount Marauder or the recently revealed Rhino GX Executive Edition will fit your bill perfectly. But what if you wanted something even more ferocious? A new model from Canada, the Inkas Sentry MPV is here for you.
This MPV looks straight out of a post-apocalyptic movie. The bodywork with the square-cut armouring panels is imposing but not as much as the monstrous proportions of the vehicle. The Sentry MPV measures 5.8 metres long, 2.5 metres wide and 2.5 metres high. It also gets a short pickup bed at the back.
To haul this mass around, the Sentry is fitted with a 6.7-litre 8-cylinder turbodiesel engine that churns out 390 hp and 1084 Nm of torque. There is a 4X4 system and other advanced off-road techs that enable it to traverse rough terrain.
Inside, the Inkas Sentry can house 4-6 people based on the seating configuration, and there is a wagon model as well. As Inkas claims, the Sentry mixes flexibility and customisation with passenger comfort and protection. That should make it feel right at home at the hotel valet, but its actual target market may be more towards law enforcement and protection in unsavoury surroundings.
