Jetour launches two new models at Jeddah Motor Show – T1 and T2 Hybrid
Jetour Auto made its presence felt at the 2024 Jeddah International Motor Show (JIMS) by launching two new models. Showcasing its latest off-road and family-oriented models, the brand emphasised its growing commitment to the Middle East market. Jetour introduced the T1 and their hybrid off-road SUV, T2 i-DM.
Jetour T1
The Jetour T1 has been developed to handle city and light off-road driving, focusing on comfort and tech. The interior tech is driven by JETOUR’s TOUR OS 2.0.
Under the hood, the T1 is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission alongside Jetour’s XWD intelligent four-wheel-drive system for improved traction on varied terrain.
The T1 also offers official modification options, catering to those who want to enhance the off-road attributes of their SUV, a feature bound to resonate with the UAE and Saudi markets. This new model is set for an official Saudi release in early 2025.
Jetour T2 i-DM: Hybrid Off-Road SUV
Equipped with JETOUR’s Super Hybrid i-DM technology, the T2 i-DM features a high-efficiency hybrid engine, advanced hybrid transmission, and reliable Battery Safety System. This combination provides not only strong performance but also impressive energy efficiency. The T2 i-DM’s hybrid setup delivers 375 hp and 610 Nm of torque, giving it solid off-road capabilities without compromising fuel efficiency.
Jetour has a strong following in Saudi Arabia, with the T2 petrol version topping sales charts in the SUV segment since early 2024. The hybrid version is expected to build on that success, catering to customers who want both power and an environmentally friendly alternative.
Expanding Jetour’s Reach in Saudi Arabia
Jetour is making aggressive moves to strengthen its presence in Saudi Arabia. With plans to launch the T1 alongside the already successful T2, the brand is setting up a comprehensive lineup in the off-road and family vehicle categories.
These new additions will join models like the X70, X90, and Dashing in Jetour’s lineup, giving Saudi customers a wider range of options that cater to different driving needs. The brand is eyeing over 20,000 units in sales for 2025, boosted by these launches and a broader push to provide localized services.
At the Jeddah show, Ke Chuandeng, Vice President of Jetour Auto, emphasized the brand’s fast-paced growth, highlighting its 2,000 sales and service locations across 60+ countries and over 1.4 million customers worldwide within just six years. To enhance the customer experience in Saudi Arabia, JETOUR plans to expand its presence with new showrooms, partnerships with authorized dealerships, and collaboration with FIX AUTO for a reliable service network.
