2025 Infiniti QX80 launched in the UAE
Infiniti Middle East has unveiled the all-new Infiniti QX80 2025 luxury SUV at an event in Dubai, marking the model’s regional debut. This flagship model, representing the first phase of INFINITI’s “New Dawn” design era, showcases the brand’s blending of Japanese craftsmanship with advanced technology.
QX80 design
The SUV features a bold exterior accented with aerodynamic lines, dark chrome details, and a distinctive two-tone roof. New 22-inch wheels and an electronic air suspension further enhance comfort and control. This updated look, dubbed “Artistry in Motion,” aims to catch the eye of luxury SUV buyers across the region.
Inside, Infiniti has focused on comfort and elegance. The cabin has semi-aniline leather seats, open-pore ash wood inlays, and metal accents. Infiniti InTouch, built-in with Google, offers convenient access to navigation and entertainment. ProPILOT Assist 1.0 combines intelligent cruise control with steering assistance, ensuring smoother long-distance journeys. A new feature, Biometric Cooling, allows passengers to personalize climate settings for ultimate comfort.
QX80 Technology
The 2025 QX80 brings a host of technological advancements to support driver safety and convenience. The new 3D Enhanced AroundView Monitor provides multiple selectable angles, making parking and tight manoeuvres easier.
The front-wide view camera and Invisible Hood View project surroundings onto dual 14.3-inch screens, enhancing visibility. The enhanced “Smart Rear View Mirror” performs better in low light, improving rear visibility at night.
Ambient Lighting and Audio Experience
The QX80’s INFINITI Light Path feature activates as the driver approaches, sequentially illuminating the grille emblem and headlights to create a dramatic effect. The cabin lighting is also customisable, with 64 colours available.
The 2025 QX80 also introduces the first Klipsch premium audio system in a full-size luxury SUV featuring 24 speakers. Individual Audio functionality directs sound elements, like music or navigation prompts, specifically to the front seats for a personalized listening experience.
Infiniti QX80 engine specifications
A newly developed VR35DDTT 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine powers the QX80, generating 450 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque, offering more power than the previous V8 engine.
The motor is coupled with a 9-speed automatic transmission. A rear differential lock caters to the region’s demand for off-road capabilities.
Thanks to the newly available height-adjustable air suspension system, ground clearance can go as high as 10.0 inches (254 mm), compared to 9.2 inches (234 mm) for the old QX80. The approach angle can be as much as 25.1 degrees, better than 20.9 degrees previously.
Likewise, a departure angle of 25.6 degrees on the new QX80 represents an improvement from 22.3 degrees previously.
Two Grades: Sensory and Autograph
Infiniti offers the QX80 in two trim levels. The “Sensory” trim emphasizes comfort and tech features, while the “Autograph” trim adds exclusive design elements and finishes for a more luxurious feel.
Infiniti QX80 Pricing and Availability
The all-new Infiniti QX80 2025 starts at AED 450,000 in the UAE and is expected to be available at regional retailers in December. It will be launched in Saudi Arabia in early 2025.
