First Look: Polestar 4 launched in the UAE

Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility (AFEM) recently officially launched the Polestar 4 in the UAE. The Polestar 4 joins the growing lineup of the Swedish electric car brand, sitting alongside the Polestar 2 and the Polestar 3, which is set to arrive soon.

As the fastest and most sustainable Polestar yet, the Polestar 4 balances performance and eco-friendliness, offering UAE buyers a new option in the electric SUV market.

The Polestar 4 adopts the “SUV-coupe” design, which has become a highlight of many electric SUVs.

Key features include removing the rear window to enhance cabin immersion, sleek dual-blade LED headlights, and aerodynamic enhancements like retractable door handles and frameless windows.

Available in two configurations:
– Long-range Dual motor: Produces 544 hp with a 0-100 kph time of just 3.8 seconds.
– Long-range Single motor: Delivers 272 hp with an impressive range of up to 620 km (WLTP).

Sustainability

Polestar has set a benchmark for reducing its carbon footprint with the Polestar 4. Built using hydropower and solar photovoltaic electricity, the vehicle incorporates sustainable materials like recycled aluminium and PET plastics.

Tonnes of CO2 equivalents (tCO2e) are used to calculate and express greenhouse gas emissions.

– Polestar 4 Long range Single motor: 19.9 tCO2e
– Polestar 4 Long range Dual motor: 21.4 tCO2e
– Compared to the Polestar 2’s initial 26.2 tCO2e, the new Polestar 4 marks a 24% reduction in emissions.
