Harley Davidson has taken the covers off their all-new powerplant, the Milwaukee-Eight. Rumours about this engine had been floating around for a while now. The Milwaukee-Eight retains the 45-degree V-Twin classic Harley angle and is a replacement for the twin-cam engine that debuted in 1999. As the name suggests, the new engine comes with eight valves, four per cylinder, in order to follow stricter emission regs.
The new engine claims to produce more power, less pollution and less vibrations even though fuel economy figures improve. It also promises a slimmer design, smoother ride and a better exhaust note.
Harley-Davidson has just launched a new Dark Custom motorcycle, called the Street 750, designed for attracting young riders around the world.
Harley-Davidson is on a roll. Not only did sales grow in 2014 compared to the year before, Harley-Davidson also released some all-new models to complement its already massive line-up of motorcycles. One of those models, and the most notable of them all, is the new Low Rider. After being shelved for half a decade, Harley-Davidson has resurrected the Low Rider name.
Jeep and Harley-Davidson joined forces at the 2014 Beirut Bike Festival (BBF), which was held on the Beirut Waterfront from 19-21 September. Gargour Automotive Company (GAC), the authorized distributor of Jeep in Lebanon, created a Jeep Wrangler Harley Davidson Edition especially for the event.
Harley-Davidson Middle East and North Africa wrapped up its Open Day in UAE last week with a showcase of new 2014 models in the presence of 1,000 riders and members of the Harley-Davidson community under the banner “Come Together, Change Lives.”
There is one thing about Harley-Davidson motorcycles that every motorcyclist will agree on — you either love them or hate them. The 12th Harley Owners Group MENA rally, hosted in Qatar this year, ran through 22nd to 24th of March, 2012. The event had hundreds of H.O.G members coming from all over the Middle East and other locations to flaunt their motorcycles.
